Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha and Journey to Ngorongoro Crater.

Destination: Ngorongoro Crater

Activities:

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you'll meet your guide and transfer to Arusha, where your safari adventure begins. After a brief orientation, enjoy a scenic 3–4 hour drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, complete park formalities and stop at the crater viewpoint for stunning photos. Descend into the 600-meter-deep Ngorongoro Crater for an afternoon game drive, where you'll have a chance to spot the Big Five and other wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, then continue your game drive before heading to Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge for dinner and overnight, with breathtaking crater views.

Day 2: Journey to Ndutu's Region of the Southern Serengeti.

Destination: Serengeti National Park

Activities:
Arise and shine it’s a new bright outshining day, on this day you will have an early breakfast from your lodge, then with your packed lunch you will depart for Ndutu in the Serengeti renowned for its wildebeest calving season (December to March) which is approx. 3-4 hours road drive. Upon your arrival you will go for an afternoon game drive to witness the incredible migration of wildebeest and their calves. You will also take a visit to the surrounding Lake Ndutu for bird-watching, including flamingos and various waterfowl. You will get a precious moment to enjoy your delightful lunch followed by a short moment of relaxation before you make your way to your fancy place of accommodation in Ndutu for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full Day of Exploration in Ndutu.

Destination: Serengeti National Park

Activities:
On this day you will have an early breakfast, then after embark on a full day of game drives through Ndutu area as you wind up your journey under this context, the magical scenario happening here is the dramatic and heartwarming scenes of newborn wildebeest and the challenges they face escaping the predators in their calving season. You may choose to go for morning or afternoon game drives. You may get a chance to spot the predators like lions and cheetahs taking advantage of the calving season. Optional nature walks with a local guide to learn about the ecosystem can be guaranteed. Lunch will be at your lodging or a packed lunch, depending on the time you decided to go for a game drive kindly advice earlier. In the evening you will return to the camp for dinner and stargazing.

Day 4: Departure from Ndutu to Arusha via Seronera Airstrip.

Destination: Arusha City

Activities:

Today you
will have an early breakfast, followed by a final game drive or relax at the
camp, depending on your flight schedule you will be transferred to the nearby
Serengeti Kusini Airstrip in Southern Serengeti or an alternatively Seronera
Airstrip where you will board a flight back to Arusha for your onward journey.
You will have approximately 1; 15 hours on the air, on the way out you will be
enjoying aerial views of the Serengeti landscape and wildlife below. Your
journey ends as you land in Arusha airport, having an extra time don’t hesitate
to extend your adventure in the paradise islands of Zanzibar.
