After the morning game drive, leave the Serengeti and begin a scenic overland journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

The drive provides an opportunity to experience the changing landscapes of northern Tanzania, from the open Serengeti plains toward the highlands surrounding Ngorongoro.

Upon arrival at Ngorongoro, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for an extended game drive.

The crater floor contains open grasslands, wetlands, woodland, and a soda lake, creating a remarkably diverse habitat for wildlife.
