Today is dedicated entirely to the Great Migration.

After an early breakfast, depart with your guide for a full-day game drive in the Northern Serengeti.

Your guide will monitor the location and behaviour of the migrating herds, looking for signs that wildebeest and zebra are preparing to cross the Mara River.

The river crossing can be a dramatic and unpredictable event. Large herds may gather along the riverbank, sometimes waiting for hours before moving. When the animals finally begin crossing, the river can become filled with thousands of wildebeest and zebra.

The Mara River also attracts:

• Nile crocodiles
• Hippos
• Lions
• Leopards
• Hyenas
• Other opportunistic predators

If the herds are not crossing, the day remains an exceptional wildlife experience, as the Northern Serengeti supports abundant resident wildlife and predators.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness and continue exploring until late afternoon.

Return to Sero Tented Camp for dinner and your second night in the Serengeti.

Wake early for your final opportunity to experience the Great Migration.

After breakfast, head out with your guide for a sunrise game drive. The early morning is particularly rewarding for wildlife viewing, with cooler temperatures and increased activity among predators and herbivores.

Continue searching for migrating herds and possible river-crossing activity.

If a crossing is taking place, your guide will position the vehicle responsibly at a suitable viewing point while respecting park regulations and the natural behaviour of the animals.

If there is no crossing, continue exploring the Northern Serengeti and enjoy the opportunity to observe the enormous herds moving through the ecosystem.

After the final game drive, proceed to the airstrip for your flight to Arusha Airport.
