By accessing and using the Deeper Serengeti Safaris website, booking a tour, or engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
All bookings are subject to availability. A deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days prior to the departure date. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Cancellations must be received in writing via email. The following cancellation fees apply:
61+ days prior to start date: 0% cancellation fee (full refund)
31-60 days prior to start date: 25% of total tour cost
15-30 days prior to start date: 50% of total tour cost
7-14 days prior to start date: 75% of total tour cost
Less than 7 days or no-show: 100% of total tour cost (no refund)
All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices include:
Park entrance fees
Accommodation as specified in the itinerary
Meals as specified
Safari vehicle with pop-up roof
Professional English-speaking guide
Bottled water during game drives
Prices do NOT include:
International flights
Visa fees
Travel insurance
Tips and gratuities
Alcoholic beverages
Personal expenses and souvenirs
Deeper Serengeti Safaris reserves the right to modify itineraries due to weather conditions, road conditions, wildlife movements, park regulations, or other unforeseen circumstances. Every effort will be made to provide suitable alternatives.
Travel insurance is MANDATORY for all clients. Your policy must cover medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, and lost luggage. You are responsible for providing proof of insurance upon request.
You are responsible for ensuring you are medically and physically fit for your chosen safari or trek. For mountain trekking (Kilimanjaro), a medical certificate of fitness may be required. Please consult your doctor regarding necessary vaccinations and medications.
Deeper Serengeti Safaris acts as an agent for hotels, lodges, transport companies, and other service providers. We are not liable for:
Injury, loss, or damage caused by third-party providers
Delays, cancellations, or changes due to weather, wildlife, or natural events
Lost or stolen personal belongings
Medical issues or accidents during the tour
You agree to follow your guide's instructions at all times. This includes:
Staying inside the vehicle during game drives
Not making excessive noise that disturbs wildlife
Not littering or damaging the environment
Respecting local customs and cultures
Deeper Serengeti Safaris may take photographs during tours for marketing purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of your images unless you notify us in writing prior to the tour.
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, government regulations, or health epidemics.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Tanzania.
Deeper Serengeti Safaris reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Please review this page periodically for changes.
