3DAYS SAFARI SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK AND NGORONGORO CRATER
DAY 1:ARUSHA TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Today morning our driver will pick you up from the hotel in Arusha ready for safari whereby you have a lunch box and drive you to Serengeti. The park has 2 million wildebeest, 900,000 Thomson gazelles, and 300,000 zebras that migrate annually and are the dominant herds. There are also 70,000 buffaloes, 27,000 damalisques, 18,000 hartebeests, 15,000 warthogs, 7,000 elands, 4,000 giraffes, 2,700 elephants, 500 hippopotamuses, and some 50 black rhinos (compared to 500 in the 1970s). Large predators include about 3,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 500 cheetahs, 3,500 spotted hyenas, and 300 wild dogs. There are more than 500 species of birds, including five species endemic to Tanzania. The park also has the largest ostrich population in Tanzania and probably in Africa. Lunch at picnic site Overnight at SERONERA CAMPSITE
DAY 2:HALF GAME DRIVE SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast on your second day, you set out for a Half day game drive, This day-long adventure is likely to be the highlight of your stay, as the wonders of the Serengeti reveal themselves. Later afternoon you will drive to Ngorongoro to a campsite for overnight at NGORONGORO SIMBA PUBLIC CAMPSITE
DAY 3:NGORONGORO CRATER
Departs early for Ngorongoro crater tour, descending to the crater floor for a game drive and
photographing with the picnic lunch. The largest collapsed unbroken caldera in the world with a high concentration of big game wildlife. Ngorongoro is a special place that is a Conservation Area, not a National Park; this means that the whole area is managed by both the animals and the local Maasai people who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife. Proceed with your game drive in this so-called “Man and Biosphere Reserve..Later you will climb the crater floor then drive heading to ARUSHA
